# WooCommerce consultant.

Daniel Paz is a WooCommerce consultant and WordPress performance engineer, CEO of WebOption and a speaker at WordCamp Brazil, WordCamp Canada and WordCamp US. He audits stores that are slow where it costs sales, in cart, checkout, product pages and the admin, finds the cause in the server, database, plugins or scripts, and hands your team a ranked plan to fix it.

WooCommerce

Cart, checkout and account pages cannot come from the page cache. Every shopper there runs PHP and hits the database, so the server and the queries decide how fast the store feels when someone is about to pay.

## Where WooCommerce gets slow

01

Uncached pages

Cart, checkout and logged-in sessions skip the page cache, so TTFB depends on PHP, object cache and hosting. My notes on [WooCommerce speed optimization](https://danielpazwp.com/woocommerce-speed-optimization/)
 go through each layer.

02

Database and admin

Orders, product meta and autoloaded options grow with the store. Slow queries show up first in the admin and in reports, then on the front end.

03

Scripts on product pages

Payment, tracking and review widgets add JavaScript that hurts INP and LCP. See [WooCommerce Core Web Vitals](https://danielpazwp.com/woocommerce-core-web-vitals/)
for how that shows in field data.

## How I work with you

I audit, advise and train your team myself. When you need hands on the code, the [WebOption team](https://weboption.com.br/performance-seguranca/)
 implements the plan.

### WooCommerce audit

I review field data for your product, category, cart and checkout templates, then trace each problem to hosting, database queries, plugins or scripts. You get a signed report with fixes ranked by expected impact and effort.

### Advisory and code review

Support for your developers or agency while the store changes. I review new plugins, payment and shipping integrations and release plans before they reach production.

### Team training

Workshops for your developers on how WooCommerce loads, caches and queries, using your own store as the example. It is the same approach I teach on the WP Alta Performance channel.

## How it works

From the first call to a plan your team owns.

1. 01### Discovery call Goals, traffic, stack and where the store feels slow. Thirty minutes.
2. 02### Access and data Read access to analytics and Search Console, plus a staging copy of the store if you have one.
3. 03### Diagnosis Code, database and infrastructure review to tie each slow page to a cause.
4. 04### Plan and handover Ranked fixes, a session with your developers and follow-up advisory if you want it.
