# WordPress expert.

Daniel Paz is a WordPress expert and consultant: a WordPress performance engineer and technical SEO specialist, CEO of WebOption and a speaker at WordCamp Brazil, WordCamp Canada and WordCamp US. Companies and agencies hire him to audit a site, review code and architecture decisions before they ship, and train their developers on how WordPress behaves under real traffic.

WordPress expert

Most WordPress sites I am called in for have structural problems: hosting, database, render-blocking assets and third-party scripts. Another plugin rarely fixes that. Fixing the structure does, and field data shows whether it worked.

## What I work on

01

Performance

Server response, caching, database and front end, checked against Core Web Vitals field data. More on my [WordPress performance work](https://danielpazwp.com/wordpress-performance/)
.

02

Technical SEO

Crawling, indexing, redirects and how the server answers Googlebot. Details on the [technical SEO page](https://danielpazwp.com/technical-seo/)
.

03

Architecture

Plugin choices, custom code, hosting and release process. This is engineering work, which is why I wrote about [WordPress engineer vs developer](https://danielpazwp.com/wordpress-engineer-vs-developer/)
.

## How I work with you

I audit, advise and train your team myself. When you need hands on the code, the [WebOption team](https://weboption.com.br/performance-seguranca/)
 implements the plan.

### WordPress audit

I go through hosting, PHP, database queries, theme, plugins and scripts, and tie each problem to its cause. You get a signed report with fixes ranked by expected impact and effort.

### Advisory and code review

Ongoing support for your developers or agency. I review pull requests, plugin choices and release plans before they reach production, so a bad decision gets caught while it is still cheap.

### Team training

Workshops for your developers using your own site as the example. It is the same approach I teach on the WP Alta Performance channel and in my [WordCamp talks](https://danielpazwp.com/talks/)
.
